Our Programs
We offer mixed-age, nature-inspired programs in a yurt classroom surrounded by beautiful Bitterroot mountains, a forest classroom, and the big Montana sky. Children learn through play, exploration, and meaningful work--crafting, baking, gardening, and tending to the land and animals.
Chickadees
(Kindergarten enrichment)
Drop off! This class is to help support the first year of homeschool. Learning Letter sounds, numbers, and kindergarten essentials through hands on play. Nature based curriculum + hands on classroom work + homestead work. 6 week sessions/2 weeks off
*Must be independently toilet trained*

Families enrolled with Harmony Education may be eligible to use their educational grant funds toward Heartwood Schoolhouse enrichment classes. This partnership helps make our hands-on, nature-based learning experiences more accessible to homeschooling families.
