Our Programs
We offer mixed-age, nature-inspired programs in a yurt classroom surrounded by beautiful Bitterroot mountains, a forest classroom, Lost Horse creek, and the big Montana sky. Children learn through play, exploration, and meaningful work--crafting, baking, gardening, and tending to the land and animals.

Financial Support
Sliding Scale Tuition is available: At Heartwood Schoolhouse, we believe that every child deserves access to meaningful, nature based learning- regardless of financial circumstances. To support this, we offer sliding scale tuition options for families who may need financial flexibility. If cost is a barrier, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are happy to work with you to find a payment plan or tuition rate that fits your family’s needs.
Community care is part of our foundation and we trust families to be honest and thoughtful in what they are able to contribute.
